Barton Circle
In this project, Barton circle is regenerate without demolishing the existing buildings aiming to revitalise the area while maintaining its current structures. The project involved group work where the team created building masterplans and a storyboard for presenting the project. Interviews with local neighbours provided a deeper understanding of the real-life issues faced by residents, informing the design and regeneration process.
What I learnt in this project:
Community Engagement- Conducting interviews to better understand the challenges faced by the people who live in Barton Circle, ensuring the regeneration plan is aligned with their needs.
Master Planning & Design- Developing building masterplans that revitalise existing structures and improve the overall functionality of the space.
Problem-Solving & Innovation- Addressing real-world problems such as social isolation, safety, and community cohesion through thoughtful design solutions.
Video Production & Storytelling- Contributing to the creation of a storyboard and presenting the regeneration plan in a video format to effectively communicate the vision.
