PhotoBook : Brightening Broken Pieces

This photo book was created during a photography session in Unit 2 at @ Topo Graphics Studio with Gili Merin. The project focused on observing and recoring street art found in everyday environments. By capturing different forms of street art that I noticed around the world, I explored how public art interacts with urban spaces and daily life. The final outcome was a photo book that brings together these images, presenting street art as a visual narrative that reflects culture, place, and creativity within cities.

What I learnt in this project:

Observation & Visual Awareness -Developing the ability to notice artistic details in everyday environments, particularly street art that often been unseen in daily life.

Photography Skills -Practising composition and framing to capture street art in a way that highlights the relationship with the surrounding urban environment.

Creative Documentation -Curating photographs into a photo book format to tell a visual story through a sequence of images.

Design & Presentation -Organising images carefully to create a clear and engaging layout that communicates the theme of street art in daily life.

Visual Storytelling -Using photography to document cultural expressions in public spaces and present them as a cohesive narrative.
