House of Arts and Culture
Supported a boutique content agency specialising in bilingual (English/Chinese) art and cultural communications for international galleries, curators, and cultural brands. Conducted editorial research, identified emerging topics within the contemporary art world, and contributed to content planning for Xiaohongshu and Instagram.
Assisted in developing research-led storytelling strategies, analysing audience engagement, and translating complex artistic concepts into accessible digital content. Collaborated within a remote international team, strengthening skills in visual research, cross-cultural communication, and content strategy while gaining insight into the operations of the contemporary art industry.
What I learnt in this project:
Content Strategy -Understanding how research informs digital storytelling, audience engagement, and platform-specific content across Instagram and Xiaohongshu.
Creative Storytelling -Developing skills in crafting compelling narratives that connect research, visual identity, and contemporary culture.
Cross-Cultural Communication -Learning to communicate art and cultural narratives for international audiences through bilingual and culturally sensitive content.
Editorial Research -Strengthening my ability to research contemporary art, artists, and cultural topics, transforming complex information into engaging and accessible content.
Remote Collaboration -Working within an international creative team, improving communication, organisation, and collaborative project management in a remote environment.
